The Men's Bible Study Group meets at FCC weekly every
Tuesday, 6:30p to 8:30p. Our format has been established as a two part evening. Part one of our weekly meeting involves studying the book of Matthew. Join us as Pastor Alan or Pastor Wayne leads us through an in depth open discussion of the Gospel of Matthew. The second half of the evening we will be focusing on topics that face teens. Currently we are discussing peer pressures facing today's teen. We discuss these issues in an open forum to understand what tools God has for each of us to handle difficult situations.
Since this Bible Study group is at the same time as the Women's Bible Study group, we will also be offering child care that will be provided by different teens each week. Each week we will be taking up donations in the Bible Study Groups to compensate the teens providing child care.
If you are interested in being a part of the Men's Bible Study contact Brandon Taber or click the link to fill out a brief form to be added to the email list.
This Tuesday, January 24th, 2012, we will visiting the VA care facility to sing with and interact with the men and staff there.
The following Tuesday, January 31st 2012, BELIEVE IT OR NOT, we will finish our short study (18 months) of the Gospel of Matthew.
From 2/7 to 3/6 (give or take a couple of months), we will be looking at 5 themes (Covenant, Law, Grace, Incarnation, and Forgiveness) that occur throughout the Bible. I invite you to join us as we learn and grow together. You will be given handouts/study guides the week before class which we will discuss in class. I know you are up for a challenge.
